I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

 Thanks, Joanne!!

for also featuring my post, Memorial Day Front Porch, from last week's party!!
Thanks Angel!

Please take some time to visit and link up to these wonderful parties!!

For about 2 years now, I had a Hose Wreath on my gate on the fence in the back of the yard....
It was an old hose given to me by a co-worker and I just tied some raffia bows on it for decoration.

We threw it out after this Winter since it was covered with Bird poop caused by my neighbors recklessly feeding the birds by throwing whole bags of seed out into their yard so I decided it was time to create another Garden Hose Wreath........
I got this nicer looking hose from a neighbor .....
It already had the bright yellow sprayer and connection nozzle on it and the small Watering Can also came from that neighbor too!!
I rolled it up in a circle and tied it with zip ties......

I tied the Watering Can on with a zip tie too and poked a few colorful flowers from Dollar Tree that I had in my stash  in between the rings of hose and the zip ties.........
Then I made a bow out of some burlap ribbon that I had bought on sale in Micheal's a few months ago.....
Attached it to the bottom and there you have it!!
My new Garden Hose Wreath for the Back Yard!!

Since I already hung another Wreath on the Gate and liked that one there, I decided to hang the Hose Wreath on the back fence...........
I thought it looked cute between 2 bright and colorful toy shovels that I bought at Dollar Tree last year and attached to the fence for a bit of Whimsy.......
I also have 2 more of those Toy Shovels hanging on my shed doors.....
And you may have noticed the shovel and spade attached to the fence......
These were my Dad's and I like being able to look at them whenever I am outside in the back yard or on the Patio......
We have had a lot of rain here over the last few days which has been great for the Garden and all my flowers and saved me from watering.........

I am behind, once again, on my return visits so please be patient but I will be by to visit soon......

If you do not have a blog, PLEASE do not be a No-Reply Blogger and give me some way to reply to your comment.  If I can not find a way to reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check back......
