My Autumn Topiary!

You may remember that I showed you this topiary from Country Sampler's Autumn Decorating magazine......
I mentioned that I was going to try to make one of these........

I had bought tomato cages on Clearance in Big Lot's for $1.29 a few weeks ago so I decided to try my hand at this!!

Instead of a grapevine wreath, I went with an evergreen wreath since I have an abundance of them because of stocking up on Clearance sales after Christmas and since I am taking a break from being a Craft Vendor, I want to use up some of my stash......
This is an 18 inch one......

I had spray painted the tomato cage orange and placed it inside the wreath........
All I did was wrap branches of the wreath around the bottom of the tomato cage to attach the 2 together......

Now my original thought was to use this basket in the middle and put a pumpkin inside of it like shown in the photo from the Autumn Decorating magazine.......
I later went with a different thought about the center of the topiary......

I bought 7 bunches of flowers from Dollar Tree.......
And added them to the wreath using a  hot glue gun.......

I bought a leaf garland at Micheals that has a grapevine base........
See it through the leaves??????

I attached it to the tomato cage with wire........

And added another plain leaf garland , also from Michaels, to fill in the bare spots.......
I bought these are Dollar Tree and decided to add them to the wreath around the base.......
Now,  I had no way of adding lights to my topiary so I decided to take the basket out of the center and put one of these lanterns that I bought at Sam's Club in the beginning of the Summer in the center instead......
It contains a Flameless Waterproof candle with a Timer so there is a bit of light in the center of the topiary at night......

Now you may remember how this urn looked in the Summer......
Here is what it looks like now!!
I took some of these photos when the Sun had come around to the front of the house and was "lighting" up the topiary, so to speak!!
You can see that I topped the Topiary off with a 2 bows made from Deco Mesh Ribbon......
See the lantern in the center.....
 So what do you think?????
 My Inspiration.....

My Topiary.......
I am pretty happy with how it came out......

I also plan on making 3 Evergreen ones for the Winter for this urn and for these urns......
I had bought a total of 4 tomato cages!!

I am having a blast crafting for myself as you can tell........

I hope you will stop by to visit again when I show you what I did with these plaques that I bought at Dollar Tree.....
 Sneak Peak......
 And I updated my photo......
I love my choice to let my hair go gray !!

And I LOVE not having to spend 4 hours to get it colored.......
