The Front Porch is Finally Summer Ready!!!

We have had a very wet and cool May this year........

And because of that, it took me so long to get the front porch and yard ready for the Summer!!

But first, I want to Thank Laura, at Decor to Adore, for mentioning me and the post I did about my new Fairy Garden Buys in her post, New Updates and Curtains for the Garden Shed .

Laura and the other hosts of the Thoughts of Home and Share Your Cup Parties are hosting their Monthly Garden Party. Please click HERE to link up!!

Finally, our front porch is ready for the warm weather months!
We have all the furniture out and I finally planted my annuals in all my pots yesterday, in between the rain drops......
I felt it was safe to plant my annuals because it is close to Memorial Day and HOPEFULLY, we will not have the chance of frost now until the Fall.......
Let's start over on the left side of the porch..........
Remember that I live in a townhouse and have a connected front porch with my neighbor.....
Once again, I went with a red, yellow, orange and white-gray color theme for the front of the house this year.....
I also learned last year, not to over plant my pots.........

In this large black urn, I planted one spike, 2 red geraniums, 2 dusty millers and 4 yellow marigolds.......
In these 2 pots, I planted red begonias.........
A garden plaque and a fairy........
A birdhouse hangs on the post.........
An orange lantern sits on a black wrought iron table.......
Red, yellow and white silk flowers fill a vintage mail box........
A garden angel solar light sits on the milk can......

A wreath that I made last year in the colors of red, white, yellow and orange hangs on the front door......
The bow is made out of burlap ribbon with a bit of gold sparkle......
The brown/black resin wicker furniture was bought several years ago in Lowes......
The chair pads and cushions set my color theme for the front of the house......
The chairs and table are ready for Joe and I to enjoy, sitting in the afternoon shade on the porch.....
An urn and another orange lantern adorn the table......
On the shelf under the table is a garden stone , making it easier to put heavier items on it.....
The rugs were bought at Big Lot's last year .......
Over in the corner of the porch......
Red begonias were planted in these 2 pots on the side of the chair......
Another lantern and a solar fairy sit in this table in the corner.....
A frog and another fairy rest under the table.......
In front of the porch.......
I planted one spike, 1 red geranium and 2 yellow marigolds in each of the pots in front of the railing......
I later added 2 more marigolds to these pots........
My rusty bird bath now holds a pot of hens and chicks.......
2 concrete frogs bought many years ago in Sam's Club also sit on the front porch.....

Solar lights and hummingbird picks are in each pot........
Another red begonia is planted in the pot in the bike planter........
Looks better with the 4 marigolds in the pot.....
So this is how the Front Porch looks now.........
My rhododendron is starting to bloom.......
The azaleas are starting to lose their blooms........
Soon I will be sharing what the front yard and the flower bed under the Living Room window looks like now that I planted all my annuals......
You can see that we had off and on showers.......
I hope you will be back to visit soon!!

And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

If you do not have a blog, PLEASE  give me some way to reply to your comment, maybe by including your email in your comment.  If I can not find a way to reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check back......

Debbie
